This article by Alexandra Petri at The Washington Post about Mike Huckabee's rant on women’s uncontrolled libido and Uncle Sugar is right on target.  If anyone seeks evidence that a good hunk of the political stratosphere is totally tone deaf to women -- just take a listen to Huckabee's rant and Ms. Petri's dissection.

Mr. Huckabee is all focused on the Democrats. .  . rather than the issues.  It doesn't matter if you are Democrat or a Republican; what matters is the bottom line support of women's opportunities, security and values.

Are the issues really framed by a woman's libido?  Are women, through government seeking a Sugar Daddy?  Is this really the depth of Mr. Huckabee's thoughts about women, government and our world?

Thank you, Mr. Huckabee for expressing so clearly why we need women elected to government to express and vote for the needs and values of women. . . from a woman's point of view.
